Job summary

Samsill Corporation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Senior Equipment Machine Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize complex manufacturing and facility equipment. You will guide junior technicians and support continuous improvement across operations.

Responsibilities include advanced maintenance of pneumatic systems, root cause analysis, and upgrading equipment. Strong mechanical/electrical skills and experience with HMIs and automation are essential.

Qualifications

Technical diploma or equivalent in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Experience supporting automated or high-precision equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Repair and maintain mechanical and pneumatic systems including valves, cylinders, FRLs, vacuum systems, and air preparation units.
Lead or support root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions.
Install, qualify, and support new equipment and upgrades.
Develop, review, and improve maintenance procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
Mentor and train technicians and equipment operators.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and EHS teams.
Monitor equipment performance and downtime; recommend reliability improvements.
Manage spare parts, tooling, and maintenance documentation within CMMS.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Troubleshoot HMI systems (Allen-Bradley PanelView, Siemens HMI) for alarms, communication faults, and operator issues.
