Job summary

Sam's Club in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain industrial equipment across our facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, operate lifting and material handling equipment, and change or service batteries as needed.

Candidates should have 1 year of mechanical or electrical repair experience or 2 years of related vocational training, with the ability to read manuals and follow procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of repairing/maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment in industrial or non-industrial settings OR
• 2 years of related vocational training

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, suppliers, or associates and complete work orders, records, logs, and other documents.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment as per procedures (lift trucks, hydraulic, electrical systems).
• Operate material handling equipment and battery equipment as required.
• Assist other maintenance technicians in repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic problems with equipment where repair is visible or obvious.
