Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations.

You will work on hydraulic/pneumatic systems, PLCs, CNC machinery, and overhead cranes, with focus on reliability and safety, including LOTO and OSHA guidelines. High School diploma required; related AS preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A.A.S. in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Technology preferred.
• OSHA 10/30, CMRP/CMRT, EPA Universal, LOTO, NFPA70E certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and machinery.
• Inspect and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and CNC equipment for downtime reduction.
• Repair pumps, gearboxes, and alignment systems as needed.
• Maintain facility utilities like HVAC and compressed air lines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and LOTO procedures.
