Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Maintenance Manager to plan, direct, and monitor maintenance policies and procedures across the site, partnering with Operations to advance Operator Driven Reliability and Autonomous Maintenance. This role blends hands-on leadership with capability-building for Mechanics and Operators to sustain improvements.

Responsibilities include directing maintenance staff, overseeing preventive maintenance and rebuilds, and ensuring safety and productivity in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience with progressive supervisory experience.
• Electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, boiler, and other systems.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs the day-to-day activities of maintenance staff to ensure optimal utilization of maintenance resources, effective work order processing, and rapid production breakdown response.
• Monitors maintenance of production machinery, related equipment, and spare parts inventory to meet production schedule requirements.
• Directs preventive maintenance and equipment rebuilds to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Designs or directs the design of control systems to enhance productivity and reduce down‑time.
• Supervises maintenance staff, including work allocation, training and development, performance appraisal, and motivation.
