Job summary

The Maintenance Manager will plan, direct, and monitor maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and productivity across the site in Opelika, AL.

As a hands-on leader, you will develop mechanics and operators, drive Operator Driven Reliability and Autonomous Maintenance, and partner with Operations to meet or exceed objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience with progressive supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, boiler systems.
• Maintenance management in a manufacturing environment.
• GMP, read diagrams/blueprints, PLC programs, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct day-to-day maintenance staff activities.
• Monitor production machinery and spare parts inventory.
• Direct preventive maintenance and equipment rebuilds.
• Design or direct control system improvements to reduce downtime.
• Supervise maintenance staff and training, ensure objectives are met.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
