City of Myrtle Beach in South Carolina is seeking a Senior Equipment Operator to perform semi-skilled to skilled work operating motorized equipment for maintaining and repairing city grounds, sewers, streets and to support solid waste collection. The role requires leadership of crew members and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with supervisors and departments to ensure efficient work flow.

Formación

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) including appropriate endorsement(s).

Responsabilidades

• Operates equipment in sanitation/solid waste, water/sewer, parks, and streets.
• May serve as a lead worker; provides guidance and instruction to other crew members; and reviews work as assigned.
• Drives or operates a variety of equipment to maintain and repair City streets, rights of way, parks, water and sewer lines, and in the collection of solid waste.
