Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires two years of experience in operating small/medium equipment and vehicle.
• Class “B” CDL with air brakes is required at time of hire; obtain Class A Instructional Permit within 60 days and Class A license within 10 months.
• A mandatory drug screening will be performed; must be eligible for CDL testing and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of heavy equipment and large vehicles.
• Coordinate and direct maintenance activity of the assigned crew.
• Prepare daily paperwork including crew activity reports and vehicle checklists.
• Perform temporary traffic control and basic construction tasks when needed.
• Train crew members in equipment operation and safety.
