Job summary

Florida Department of Transportation in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Equipment Operator to perform maintenance and operate multiple stages of equipment in road and bridge maintenance. This full-time position requires a valid Class B CDL with air brakes and the ability to respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs tree trimming, rough carpentry, masonry, painting and assists in highway sign assembly.
