Fayette County Board of Commissioners seeks a full-time equipment operator for asphalt paving, grading and maintenance of roads and public properties. The role includes operating heavy and light equipment, flagging traffic and performing related duties.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Class B CDL and GDOT flagging certification. The position may require on-call hours and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Valid Class B CDL driver’s license issued by Georgia within 9 months.
• GDOT flagging certification within 9 months.

Responsabilités

• Operate asphalt paving and grading equipment as part of a crew.
• Flag traffic and install work zone traffic control devices.
• Maintain and service assigned equipment and tools.
• Patches roadways and performs related duties as assigned.
