Job description

The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. The full salary range reflects the competitive labor market value across the national market and offers opportunities for growth as employees develop within the role. Description

Under limited supervision, sets up, operates, and maintains various types of production equipment, including printers and inserters. Responsible for adhering to strict quality standards and ensuring production quotas are met. Performs audit controls, reviewing output for thoroughness and accuracy.

This position requires working onsite. The scheduled shift is the 2nd shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM EST.

Responsibilities

1. Contributes to production plan estimates.
2. Estimates time to complete work accurately and manages workload efficiently.
3. Maintains records of work performed, reports results, and escalates issues as needed.
4. Identifies and resolves moderately complex equipment and production problems, documenting or escalating issues accordingly.
5. Reviews output for thoroughness and accuracy, checks supplies for quality, performs audit procedures, and follows QC guidelines.
6. Meets production quotas and adjusts schedules/workloads accordingly.
7. Makes recommendations for expense reductions and follows established controls to maximize savings while meeting SLAs.
8. Participates in testing new apps, supplies, and equipment, providing feedback.
9. Assists less experienced team members with production and equipment issues.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or GED; 2 to 4 years of related experience.
2. Solid knowledge of print and insert equipment, jobs, and processes.
3. General knowledge of quality control concepts.
4. Basic oral and written communication skills.
5. Effective team player with good interpersonal skills.
6. Strong organizational and planning skills.
7. Demonstrates respectful, inclusive, and courteous behavior.
