Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to lead engineering and maintenance for a key production area in Matteson, IL. You will drive reliability, safety, and efficiency of critical equipment and systems.

You will manage a team of equipment engineers and technicians, coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety, and lead projects to reduce downtime, improve performance, and support manufacturing objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 7+ years in equipment/maintenance engineering or related field.
• 3–6+ years of leadership/management experience.
• Experience with large-scale, high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety practices and industrial electrical safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment engineering and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and schedule adherence.
• Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead improvement projects for safety, quality, productivity.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships.
