Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan, Inc. is seeking a Process Tech Manager to lead process engineering and improvement activities in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

This on-site role requires driving safety, quality, yield, and efficiency through structured problem solving and cross-functional collaboration. The Manager will guide Process Engineers, coordinate with Production, Equipment, Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams, and oversee continuous improvement projects to meet operational

Qualifications

• 7+ years in process or manufacturing engineering.
• 3-6+ years in leadership or management.
• Experience in large-scale automated manufacturing.
• Experience with process optimization and yield improvement.
• Leading process improvement projects.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and process control.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering and improvement activities to support safe, stable, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
• Monitor process performance, yield, quality, productivity, and other KPIs to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Lead the resolution of complex process, manufacturing, and quality issues using structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Develop and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions to improve process stability and manufacturing performance.
• Coordinate process activities with Production, Equipment, Quality, Safety, Engineering, and other departments to support operational priorities.
• Support process validation, change management, and implementation of approved process improvements.
