Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is hiring an Equipment Engineer I to support manufacturing equipment from setup through commissioning and production.

You will help create preventive maintenance standards, analyze abnormalities, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 1 year of equipment engineering experience in a production setting, with optional PLC, Six Sigma, and DOE familiarity to improve process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 1 year of equipment engineering experience in a production/plant environment.
• PLC experience, Six Sigma, and DOE are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with LGES partners and equipment vendors.
• Manage equipment setup schedules and preventive maintenance standards.
• Monitor equipment performance and conduct root-cause analysis for abnormalities.
• Install/modify/analyze/repair/test tools and machinery in winding, assembly, and formation processes.
• Collaborate with teams to improve process quality and implement improvements.
• Maintain daily maintenance plans and complete equipment performance audits.
