Job summary

LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Equipment Engineer to optimize cylindrical battery production equipment and improve efficiency. You will analyze OEE, identify root causes, and implement upgrades across multiple lines.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in production equipment, a bachelor’s degree in engineering, and experience with PLCs, DOE, Six Sigma, CAD, and Korean-English bilingual skills as a plus.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years in engineering equipment in production/plant env.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
PPE required: safety glasses and steel-toed shoes for up to 12 hours.
Lift/push/pull up to 35 pounds; stoop, twist, bend; sit/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Analyze Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) for breakdowns and uptime.
Report on OEE and create improvement plans.
Design/review production work orders based on PLCs.
Monitor OEE and Line of Balance after improvements.
Install/modify/analyze/repair/test new tools and equipment on the line.
Research/implement new technology for production equipment.
Provide support to other engineers and delegate work orders.
Collaborate with related departments to improve process quality.
Manage daily maintenance plans.
Train other equipment engineers.
