Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related field.
• At least seven years of equipment engineering experience in production/plant environment.
• Experience with production equipment, manufacturing processes, troubleshooting and performance analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Wear PPE as required and work shifts up to 12 hours.
• Lifting up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze OEE, downtime, micro-stops, breakdown maintenance, yield and line balance; develop and implement improvement plans.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Design and review production work orders involving PLCs and support equipment-control modifications.
• Install, modify, troubleshoot, repair, test, and commission tools, machines, and production equipment across winding, assembly, and formation processes.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new equipment and manufacturing technologies.
• Plan and coordinate daily maintenance, equipment modifications, and continuous-improvement activities with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers, delegate work orders, and train team members.
• Complete required documentation and audits; maintain a clean, organized work area per 5S/3R standards.
• Follow safety, PPE, cleanroom, and environmental requirements and help maintain a safe workplace.
