Job summary

Jabil in the United States, Asheville, NC, is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate electro-mechanical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and work with tooling and automation systems to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Eight years of experience in electro-mechanical equipment in manufacturing.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting injection presses, end-of-arm tools and robots.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to plans and manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checks and calibrations.
• Maintain data to develop process improvement initiatives and train staff if needed.
