Job summary

Medtronic is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for our North Haven, CT site on 2nd shift (M-F 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM). The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of medical device manufacturing equipment to ensure quality and operational excellence.

The position requires strong electrical, mechanical, and control systems skills, with experience in troubleshooting PLCs, robotics, and automated systems, and the ability to document activities in CMMS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment used in medical device production.
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and repair or replace components.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot controllers, PLCs, robotics, and automated systems.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment history in CMMS.
