Job summary

Flex, a global leader in diversified manufacturing, seeks an Equipment/Maintenance Manager in Milpitas, CA. The role oversees maintenance and troubleshooting of high‑volume manufacturing equipment, driving cost, quality, and delivery goals with strong leadership across shifts.

The successful candidate will guide PM/PdM strategies, budget management, safety leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent maintenance experience.
• 10+ years of maintenance experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with automated machinery and robotics.
• Knowledge of PLC systems and ability to manage maintenance teams across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities to optimize equipment use and meet production demands.
• Establish and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate maintenance efforts with engineering and operations teams.
• Generate maintenance logs and operational metrics.
• Forecast department operating costs and prepare budget requests.
