Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced attorney to join the Equipment Finance Legal Team.

The role involves significant discretion advising EF management, sales, credit and negotiation teams on documentation for leases, loans and software financing products across the EF network. You will structure, draft and negotiate vendor program and servicing agreements, review third-party lending docs, and provide counsel on perfection and collateralization, supporting complex, large-ticket transactions

Qualifications

• Experience as an attorney handling equipment finance matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and risk assessment skills.
• Ability to collaborate with sales, credit and management teams.

Responsibilities

• Structuring, drafting, reviewing and negotiating vendor program and servicing agreements with EF's indirect financing sources.
• Reviewing third-party lending and leasing documentation for purchase through EF's indirect financing and syndications channels.
• Leading risk assessment, documentation and transactional support for large-ticket lending and leasing products.
• Developing and maintaining contract templates for large-ticket transactions.
• Working with senior management, sales and credit to evaluate and develop new financing products.
• Providing counsel on perfection and collateralization.
