Job summary

Commerce Bank is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator – Equipment Finance to document commercial leases and loans ranging from $200,000 to $5,000,000 for tax-based and tax-exempt entities. The role requires strong knowledge of UCC, contract law, and loan documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 5+ years relevant industry experience relating to document creation in commercial equipment loan or lease environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• . Act as subject matter expert in specialty areas, serving as a key resource for internal partners and a trusted point of contact for clients
• . Manage client communications and expectations while addressing questions to ensure a seamless, client-focused experience
• . Verify approvals and conditions, review lease and loan document requests, and track outstanding items
• . Assist with document negotiations with outside counsel and ensure accuracy
• . Review documentation requirements with clients to meet bank and client needs
• . Create lease and equipment loan documents through internal systems with accuracy
• . Prepare UCC financing statements to secure lien on collateral
• . Verify insurance coverage on financed assets
• . Set up escrow accounts and disbursement of funds
• . Prepare lease amendment documentation
• . Produce, review, and explain ad-hoc reports to Senior Management
• . Identify efficiencies and write policies for the department
• . Perform other duties as assigned
