Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC seeks an exceptional Senior Engineering Project Manager for the Equipment Engineering team. You will own critical projects, drive schedules and budgets, and enable scalable, multi-year factory builds with strong cross-functional collaboration.

The role focuses on delivering planned engineering outcomes while managing risks and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering fields.
• 8+ years in engineering and project management.
• Proven track record with hardware/equipment projects.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence; MS Project/Primavera P6.
• Ability to adapt plans and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Define work scope and create a Work Breakdown Structure.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and BOMs.
• Evaluate new project requests and resolve technical/operational challenges.
• Mitigate near- and mid-term risks impacting budgets and timelines.
• Communicate plans, issues, risks, and solutions to leaders and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely deliverables.
