Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC, based in Devens, MA, seeks a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead design/assembly for SPARC. You will drive projects from inception to completion, coordinating engineers, scientists, designers, and procurement specialists to meet schedule and budget targets.

You’ll develop comprehensive plans for engineering, procurement, and construction, track progress, and push for process improvements while maintaining rigorous risk management and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field
• Proven track record managing complex engineering projects
• 7+ years in engineering and/or project management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera P6

Responsibilities

• Drive projects within SPARC from inception to completion
• Develop comprehensive plans for engineering, procurement, and construction of process systems
• Manage SPARC systems through final design with cross-functional teams
• Establish milestones and ensure deliverables meet budget and timeline
• Track and report project progress and maintain accurate schedules
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet execution requirements
• Identify risks and drive mitigation plans throughout the lifecycle
• Maintain detailed project schedules in Jira/Confluence and other tools
