Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent and 8+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and 5+ years.
• Experience developing, integrating, or deploying automated industrial or manufacturing equipment.
• Direct experience with equipment OEMs, integrators, or automation suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and validate advanced manufacturing equipment for structural processing applications.
• Own execution of equipment development workstreams including design collaboration and commissioning.
• Collaborate with OEMs, integrators, and automation suppliers to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
• Support equipment architecture, controls strategy, robotics integration, and safety implementations.
• Translate complex manufacturing requirements into scalable equipment designs.
• Generate engineering documentation, specifications, validation plans, and reports.
• May mentor junior engineers and support capability-building within the team.
