Job summary

Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. is seeking an EPMO Project Manager to lead and delivery healthcare projects under the guidance of the EPMO leader. You will coordinate matrixed teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and support change management efforts while upholding privacy and quality standards.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills across levels I–IV, with opportunities for professional growth within the Excellus/CDPHP organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, business or related field.
• Three (3) years related work experience.
• PMP certification preferred; familiarity with PM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates a matrixed team’s activities to manage approved scope from business case through close-out.
• Monitors project economics including costs, budgets, staffing, and risks.
• Escalates issues and maintains regular status with sponsors and teams.
• Maintains currency on project management techniques and best practices.
• Represents project leadership in cross-functional meetings when needed.
