Oliver James is partnering with a leading U.S. insurer to hire a Claims Director for its professional lines team. The role will oversee mid-to-high value EPL and D&O claims, including litigation and coverage matters, and requires strategic adjudication, client communication, and settlements.

This hybrid position can be based in NYC, NJ, CT, PA or other US locations with 2–3 days in the office. The salary is up to $176,000 plus a 15% bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, plus a clear

Qualifications

• 4+ years handling EPL and/or D&O claims for an insurer.
• Exposure to other professional lines claims beneficial
• Experience with coverage, litigation and complex claims matters

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload of EPL and D&O claims including litigation.
• Ensure adjudication of claims within service expectations and client requirements; negotiate settlements.
