Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Dir, Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to lead scientific strategy and execution for virology trials within RWLP. You will oversee study design, analysis plans, and manuscript development, while coordinating with management and biostatistics groups to deliver high-quality submissions.

Qualifications

• Requires graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; (Masters; Preferred Doctorate)
• Requires in-depth knowledge of and experience with a variety of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late phase study designs as well as relevant guidelines preferred
• Requires basic knowledge of statistical programming language(s) (e.g., SAS, R, Python)
• Excellent communication, presentation, both written and spoken
• Strong personal communication and team-oriented skills
• Demonstrated leadership and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in Virology Clinical Trials, providing scientific expertise to RWLP management and company leadership.
• Collaborate with RWLP management, business development, and operations to develop and win global opportunities; lead proposals, bid defenses, and capability presentations.
• Provide scientific oversight of projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and satisfaction meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate with project manager on study start-up and ongoing management; develop/peer-review protocols, CRFs, SAPs, study management plans, and reports.
