Job summary

NYU Langone Health in New York is seeking a Sr II Developer - Epic Reporting to apply technical expertise across IT disciplines and manage information delivery. In this role, you will work with customers and analysts to understand business needs and deliver quality technical solutions.

You will participate in the full systems life cycle—from design to deployment—ensuring alignment with architectural standards and technology strategy while communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 4 or more years of experience and BA/BS degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
• Aligns business and IT strategies, and complies with MCITs architectural standards.
• Participates in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and/or supporting application software.
• Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
• Participates in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy versus build recommendations.
• Participates in systems analysis and design using development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
• Independently designs technical solutions for modules of a project, or to resolve most problems.
• Selects appropriate work procedures or approaches to address technical challenges.
