Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Senior Epic Client Systems Administrator (Sr. ECSA) to support Epic's Web & Service server technologies across the enterprise. The role covers Interconnect, MyChart, Web BLOB, BCA, EPS, and Hyperspace Web, with involvement in Hyperdrive Local and Epic Satellite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Epic experience in a production, enterprise Epic environment (Client Systems Administration / Web & Service server)
• At least two current Epic ECSA certifications (current and in good standing)
• Strong Epic Interconnect experience: admin, build, monitor, troubleshoot production Interconnect
• Experience with the full range of ECSA Web & Service technologies (Interconnect, MyChart, Web BLOB, BCA, EPS, Hyperspace Web) and related Tech
• Experience with Epic upgrades and weekly/monthly Special Updates (SUs) including build, testing, validation
• Experience using Kuiper to deploy Special Updates and Hyperdrive Local deployments
• On-call rotation involvement and SU/upgrade scheduling
• Troubleshooting Windows Server / IIS-hosted Epic Web & Service components, certificates, connectivity
• Strong organization and documentation skills; change management
• Bachelor's degree is required

Responsibilities

• Supports Epic ECSA technologies independently, including day-to-day operations and break/fix
• Configuration, maintenance, upgrades/updates, documentation
• Participate in on-call rotations and Epic Special Updates (SUs) and upgrades
• Support Interconnect, MyChart, Web BLOB, BCA, EPS, and Hyperspace Web across the enterprise
• Use Kuiper for deployments and Hyperdrive Local; assist Epic Satellite
• Assist with Windows Server / IIS hosting and certificate management
• Maintain strong documentation and adhere to change management processes
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation accuracy
