Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Quality Review/EPIC Training Coordinator to support Physicians Billing Financial Services. You will troubleshoot difficult accounts, monitor workflow, and guide staff in billing, follow-up and denial activities, ensuring consistent quality across units.

The role requires EPIC Certification, strong leadership and Excel/Access skills, plus 3+ years in medical billing or clinical customer service. You will develop training programs and serve as a department-wide resource.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Commercial, Medicare and Medi-Cal billing and claims processing.
• 3+ years of medical billing and/or clinical customer service experience.
• Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 coding and documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• EPIC Certification in Resolute Professional Billing Principal Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a department-wide training resource for billing workflows and denial management.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff performing billing, follow-up and denial activities.
• Monitor productivity, troubleshoot accounts and identify AR issues.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to ensure quality standards.
