Job summary

Nordic Healthcare Group (NHG) seeks Epic BI Developers to design, develop, and maintain analytics content within the Epic reporting suite and other enterprise data platforms. You will work to translate business data needs into robust BI solutions, ensuring HIPAA compliance and clear data interpretation.

Strong Epic Clarity knowledge and data modeling are essential as you collaborate with analysts and end users.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field; 5 years in a Data Analyst role in healthcare (required) or 7 years in lieu of degree
Experience with relational databases and SQL
Experience with healthcare analytics and reporting
Epic Clarity Data Model Certification required
Cogito Certification/Accreditation required
Familiarity with Epic applications and data modeling
Strong communication and data visualization skills

Responsibilities

Translate data needs into recurring data extracts or custom solutions
Collaborate with Epic Application analysts, DBAs, architects, and business users to understand reporting needs
Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and data interpretation
Maintain Epic Reporting Content from Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle
Configure and test Epic content for reporting tools; set security groups
Implement auditing and validation processes for data accuracy
Distribute analytics content to data consumers and maintain metadata
Ensure reporting solutions comply with HIPAA and data privacy policies
