Job summary

Parkview Health is seeking a BI Analyst who independently develops reports, dashboards, data extracts, and ad hoc queries using the Epic Clarity database, enterprise data warehouse, and the business intelligence platform.

You will work with clinical and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, design specifications, and ensure user acceptance testing and complete delivery of reporting solutions, with strong emphasis on documentation and change control.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field.
• Epic certification at time of hire or within 6 months; enterprise analytics training; licensed healthcare desirable.
• 4 years IT/healthcare experience.
• Intermediate SQL skills.
• Familiar with RDBMS and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Crystal and SAP Business Objects.
• Epic EMR knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• 24/7/365 availability.

Responsibilities

• Independently develops reports, dashboards, data extracts, and ad hoc queries using Epic Clarity and BI tools.
• Gathers and analyzes requirements, designs specifications, and ensures UAT and complete delivery.
• Documentation conformity and knowledge transfer to coworkers and clients.
• Proposes solutions to leadership around documentation standards, efficiency, quality, and updates.
• Develops subject matter expertise in Epic data models and BI tools, applying critical thinking to solve problems.
