Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Epic Ambulatory Build Analyst - Ambulatory to lead and optimize Epic environments, shaping clinical workflows and documentation through design sessions and requirements translation. You will partner with IT, vendors, and clinical teams to deliver robust ambulatory solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of Epic Ambulatory experience, certification, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring Epic solutions and supporting them across environments.
• Previous application configuration experience.
• Experience in test planning, execution, test case development, and meeting quality requirements.
• Experience working on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of clinical applications and the healthcare IT industry.
• Understanding of configurable applications and monitoring practices.
• Analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bridge communication among technical and nontechnical staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Epic environments.
• Lead discovery calls and provide Level of Effort estimates.
• Facilitate design sessions with business leaders and analysts.
• Create and fulfill EHR use cases; translate requirements to technical specs.
• Lead documentation for discovery and implementation.
• Ensure current and future state workflows are defined clearly.
• Collaborate with project managers on tasks and estimates.
• Support vendor upgrades, system changes and environment maintenance.
• Analyze current state processes with clinical users to design future state.
• Identify and document process and data gaps.
