Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Senior Epic Ambulatory Build Analyst - Ambulatory to lead and optimize Epic configurations and workflows. You will partner with business leaders and IT to translate requirements into technical specifications and ensure quality deliverables.

The role requires five+ years of Epic experience, EpicCare Ambulatory certification, and the ability to drive discovery, design sessions, and testing across multi-disciplinary teams in a health care setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required.
• EpicCare Ambulatory certification is required.
• Experience in test planning and execution.
• Strong knowledge of clinical applications and healthcare IT.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintenance of Epic environments
• Lead Discovery calls and provide Level of Effort
• Facilitate design sessions with business leaders and analysts
• Create and fulfill EHR use cases, identify business and functional requirements and working closely with IT resources to translate requirements and workflows to technical specifications
• Lead documentation efforts for discovery and implementation
• Ensure requirements and future state workflows are clearly defined
• Work with Project Managers to identify tasks and associated estimates.
• Support execution of vendor upgrades, system changes and environment maintenance procedures. This role requires you to work with matrix style teams including providers, project managers, technical resources, Subject Matter Experts (SME), business stakeholders, and vendor representatives to document the business and functional requirements, system specifications, and testing attributes & results. • Participate in the analysis of current state processes and collaborate with clinical business and reporting users to create future state processes
