Position Overview

The Senior Ambulatory Application Analyst supports the mission of OCHIN through complex configurations to support the Epic applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) software for our member clinics. This role consults with members and internal staff to provide solutions that offer accurate, secure, and efficient workflows, with a focus on quality financial outcomes for our member organizations.

Essential Duties

  1. Perform complex build and configuration in Epic Ambulatory and related products.
  2. Operate in OCHIN’s Member Care Team framework as a key contributor to the overall goals of the team support model.
  3. Lead working sessions with OCHIN members to resolve advanced and complex integration work orders.
  4. Discuss and provide workflow solutions and ensure understanding of the system through hands-on training.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on applications across the organization.
  6. Lead and mentor other analysts on complex interdepartmental project work.
  7. Document build specifications, team processes, and complex clinic workflows.
  8. QA complex builds, Quarterly Update (SU) modifications, and other work orders.
  9. Collaborate with members from other OCHIN teams to address integration issues.
  10. Provide elbow support to clinic staff during Go-Lives and Dress Rehearsals as needed.
  11. Lead trainings and workgroups for members.
  12. Develop and share workflow best practices.
  13. Travel to support off-site software installations as needed.
  14. Assist Project Managers in identifying system capabilities.
  15. Build, design, test, and document functionality of new system features.
  16. Provide process improvements within your application or team.
  17. Other duties as assigned.
