Position: Technical Field Application Engineer (US)

Location: United States (Remote or Field-Based)

We’re seeking a passionate Technical Field Application Engineer to serve as the vital technical link between our team and our customers across the U.S. In this role, you’ll support both customers and internal teams with product design and system integration, collaborate with manufacturing, and ensure successful deployment of innovative display technologies. You'll play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and advancing cutting-edge HMI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, addressing product-related questions and troubleshooting issues with our display technologies.
• Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements, develop tailored solutions, and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demos.
• Work closely with customers during system integration, helping to overcome technical hurdles and maximize display performance.
• Represent the voice of the customer by sharing insights with R&D to guide product improvements and next-gen development.

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of LCD, OLED, and touchscreen technologies, especially as integrated into Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
• Hands-on experience with display protocols such as MIPI DSI, HDMI, SPI, I²C, and LVDS, along with familiarity with PCB design, EMI, and EMC compliance.
• Skilled in setting up and optimizing display drivers on Linux, Windows, or Android platforms, with proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of colour calibration, gamma correction, and optical bonding techniques to improve performance and readability across environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of experience working with display technologies in an engineering, technical support, or applications role, ideally within HMI systems.
