Job summary

Primoris Power Solutions, LLC seeks an experienced EPC Project Manager III to lead small to medium scale electric substation, transmission, and distribution projects. You will act as single point of accountability for planning, execution and closeout, managing scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality per PMBOK, while maintaining client relationships and reporting to company management.

The role requires 5+ years in the utility sector, strong MS Project/Primavera skills, effective negotiation,

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in the utility industry
1+ years working on EPC projects
Knowledge of project management fundamentals
Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Project/Primavera scheduling tools
Experience engaging with material manufacturers for transmission lines or HV substation projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Ability to travel 25–40%
Knowledge of EPC, Fixed Price, T&M, CPlus and Unit pricing mechanisms

Responsibilities

Manage EPC projects in accordance with Primoris policies and procedures
Oversee client and project stakeholder relationships to establish trusted partnerships
Lead contract negotiations, change orders, submittals, and contract administration
Implement effective change control and risk management
Coordinate EH&S and quality programs for projects
Deliver accurate project reporting and financial oversight to ensure profitability
Prepare estimates and proposals and manage project meetings
Maintain communication with management and project teams on status and issues
