Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Raleigh, NC seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality planning and execution for large-scale EPC power projects. You will work with multinational teams to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements, reviewing ITP/MTP, inspections, and test plans while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires 5–10 years in EPC project quality management, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical) required; master’s degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of professional EPC project quality management experience in large energy projects.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 standards; lead-auditor certification is a plus.
• Understanding of ITP, MTP, inspections, punch lists, and mechanical completion processes.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, RCA, PDCA, and COPQ/T-NPS concepts.
• Work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support quality planning and execution for EPC power and energy projects across multinational teams.
• Review and support ITP and MTP documents and testing plans.
• Participate in inspections, testing activities, punch list management, and mechanical completion.
• Apply structured problem-solving to address non-conformities and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Hitachi Energy quality standards.
