Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY USA INC is seeking a Project Procurement Specialist in Raleigh, NC. You will manage end-to-end procurement for large EPC programs, leading PPPs, RFI/RFQ activities, and critical supplier engagements to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

You will collaborate with Project Management, Engineering, and Finance across global supply chains, leveraging SAP/Oracle ERP, Primavera P6, and Power BI to optimize cost, schedule, and quality. Domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain or procurement experience within project environments (EPC, grid integration, utilities).
• Experience managing large-scale procurement plans and supplier quality processes (ITPs/FAT/SAT/NCR).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and analytics tools (Power BI, Excel).
• Fluency in English, willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Project Procurement Plans (PPP) aligned with project schedules.
• Support RFI/RFQ activities and evaluations with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and mitigate supply, logistics, capacity, quality, and schedule risks.
• Coordinate sourcing, contracting, supplier communications, and negotiations.
• Execute expediting activities and drive recovery plans for On-Time Delivery.
• Oversee supplier quality activities, ITPS, FAT/SAT, NCR/SNCRP closure.
