Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY USA INC in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a Project Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end procurement for large EPC programs that strengthen and modernize power grids. You will own the Project Procurement Plan (PPP), support sourcing and supplier activities, and drive On-Time Delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in project procurement, experience with SAP/Oracle and Primavera P6 or MS Project, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Work authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain or procurement experience in EPC/grid/utilities industries.
• Experience managing large-scale procurement plans.
• Proficiency with SAP/Oracle, Primavera P6 or MS Project, Power BI, and Excel.
• Fluency in English, written and verbal; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Project Procurement Plans aligned with project schedules.
• Support RFI and RFQ activities and evaluations with teams.
• Identify and mitigate supply, logistics, capacity, quality, and schedule risks.
• Support sourcing, contracting, supplier communication, and negotiations.
• Execute expediting activities and drive recovery plans for On-Time Delivery.
• Coordinate supplier quality activities and NCR/SNCRP closure.
• Publish procurement dashboards and monitor project metrics.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations.
