Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Procurement Specialist to lead end-to-end procurement for large EPC programs. You will own the Project Procurement Plan, drive sourcing strategy, and coordinate closely with project teams to ensure on-time delivery and cost targets.

The role requires 5+ years in project procurement within EPC or utilities, familiarity with SAP/Oracle, and proficiency in scheduling and analytics tools. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain or procurement experience in project environments such as EPC or utilities.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Project Procurement Plans (PPP) aligned with project schedules and milestones.
• Support RFI and RFQ activities and contribute to technical and commercial evaluations.
• Identify and mitigate supply, logistics, capacity, quality, and schedule risks.
• Support sourcing, contracting, supplier communication, and commercial negotiations.
• Execute expediting activities and monitor supplier milestones to achieve On-Time Delivery.
