Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Project Procurement Specialist in Raleigh, NC to manage end-to-end procurement for large-scale EPC programs.

You will own PPPs, coordinate with PM, Engineering, and QA teams, and drive OTD performance while ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met. You will gain exposure to complex procurement planning, supplier quality processes, logistics coordination, and risk management in a fast-paced energy infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain or procurement experience in project environments (EPC, grid, utilities or similar).
• Proven track record managing large-scale procurement plans.
• Hands-on with supplier quality processes (ITPs, FAT/SAT, NCR/SNCRP).
• Fluent English; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage Project Procurement Plans (PPP) aligned with project schedules and milestones.
• Support RFI and RFQ activities and evaluations with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and mitigate supply, logistics, capacity, quality, and schedule risks.
• Support sourcing, contracting, supplier communication, and negotiations for project materials/services.
• Execute expediting activities and drive recovery plans for On-Time Delivery.
• Coordinate supplier quality activities, including ITPs, FAT/SAT, documentation management, and NCR/SNCRP closure.
• Publish procurement dashboards and monitor project performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.
