Job summary

PTS Advance in Blacksburg, VA seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead design-build/EPC projects in power delivery and energy infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; substitution allowed
• 10+ years' experience in Construction Project Management, with DB/EPC projects in power delivery preferred
• Knowledge of materials, methods, equipment used in transmission, distribution, and substation work
• Expertise in engineering, design, contracting methodologies, and project planning

Responsibilities

• Manages DB/EPC teams from inception through completion, including pursuit phase
• Directs engineering design and construction activities
• Administers prime contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders
• Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental goals
• Plans and reports on overall project performance
• Communicates with customer to ensure satisfaction and coordination at the jobsite
• Oversees procurement and subcontractor oversight
• Supervises project team members and coordinates with CM and site safety reps
• Responds to RFIs and conducts value engineering and constructability reviews
• Develops schedules, budgets, and cash-flow reports; tracks progress and changes
• Coordinates progress, budget forecasting, and schedule management reports
• Supports project close-out and warranty administration
