Job summary

The Day & Zimmermann Group, Inc. is seeking an Estimator III on-site in Wadsworth, TX to produce EPC cost estimates and support project budgets across engineering, procurement, and construction activities.

The role requires six plus years of estimating experience, proficiency with Excel and Win Estimator, and a solid track record in construction estimates; nuclear EPC experience is preferred. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Some college or post secondary education preferred.
• Six plus years of estimating experience in construction.
• Computer proficiency certifications are a plus or equivalent education.
• Experience in Nuclear EPC Industry Estimating preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Develop craft hour productivity rates through research of past project cost history.
• Produce total project (EPC) cost estimates to support budgets and allocations.
• Work with a team of estimators and cost analysts to improve estimating database and tools.
• Interface with all disciplines supporting proposal and EPCM estimates.
