Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction (DZMC) is actively accepting applications for an Estimator. This is a remote work position with responsibilities spanning detailed quantity take-offs, development of productivity rates, and producing EPC cost estimates to support client budgeting and project execution.

The role requires 5+ years related estimating experience, strong Excel and Win Estimator proficiency, and the ability to work independently while maintaining professional

Qualifications

• College or post‑secondary education preferred or five years related experience.
• Strong skills in Excel and estimating software.
• Ability to organize work, problem solve and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance for site Estimating personnel.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Develop craft hour productivity rates with limited information.
• Produce total project (EPC) cost estimates for client budgets.
• Determine labor hours and dollars for engineering, procurement, maintenance and construction.
• Collaborate with estimators and cost analysts to improve estimating tools.
