Day & Zimmermann seeks a senior Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive from front-end design through construction support at a nuclear power facility. You will shape scopes of work, oversee equipment specs, and mentor a team of engineers and designers.

Applicants should have a BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 10+ years of progressive experience, including at least 6 years in the EPCm sector. Nuclear project experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited BS in Mechanical Engineering.
10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering.
Minimum 6 years direct experience in the EPCm industry.
Nuclear facility project experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical engineering efforts from front-end design through construction support.
Develop scopes of work and manage equipment specifications.
Mentor a team of engineers and designers.
