Job summary

Twelve is pioneering a new industrial era using electrochemistry to transform CO2 into fuels, chemicals, and materials. The Senior Contract Specialist will lead day-to-day administration of EPC, EPCM, construction, and major service agreements, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and timely closeout across projects.

Based in Moses Lake, WA, you will coordinate with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and HSE to manage change, notices, and contractor invoices while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 20+ years of progressive contract administration or equivalent is expected.
• Experience with very complex EPC/EPCM, construction and major service contracts in heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of contract structures, terms, risk allocation, and closeout requirements.
• Experience managing change orders, claims, notices, and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contract development and administration processes.
• Administer complex contracts from award through execution and closeout.
• Interpret terms, obligations, deliverables, notices, and payment provisions.
• Maintain contract records, logs, and closeout documentation for audit readiness.
• Lead change administration, including evaluation, negotiation, and tracking of changes.
• Support entitlement analysis for contractor claims and schedule delays.
• Coordinate with Project Controls, Finance, Legal, HSE, and contractors to align objectives.
• Review invoices, progress payments, and milestone claims for compliance.
• Ensure contractor compliance with insurance, bonding, and site requirements.
• Prepare formal correspondence, notices, and reservation-of-rights communications.
• Drive contract closeout and final account settlement.
