Job summary

Avantus is seeking a Project Manager (EPC and Construction) to support day-to-day EPC team functions from development through construction and operation for a portfolio of solar and utility-scale projects.

The role reports to the Director of EPC and Construction and involves coordinating with engineering, permitting, and procurement, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or construction management.
• 5 years EPC management and contracting in solar/utility projects.
• 3 years experience with utility-scale solar development or IPP.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to multitask across multiple projects and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety priorities reflected in EPC contracting.
• Coordinate EPC procurement from bid to agreement.
• Manage design submittals and EPC documentation.
• Lead EPC responses and RFP schedules.
• Oversee project construction with safety as priority.
• Maintain project reporting to lenders and sponsors.
• Support budgets, cashflows and milestone tracking.
