Job summary

Avantus is seeking a Project Manager (EPC and Construction) to support day-to-day EPC team functions from development through construction and commercial operation for a portfolio of utility-scale solar and storage projects. The role emphasizes safety, cross-functional coordination, and timely reporting to lenders and sponsors, with travel to job sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years EPC management, a Bachelor's in engineering/business/construction, and strong communication skills;

Qualifications

• 5 years of EPC management and contracting experience in solar development or utility infrastructure.
• 3 years experience working for a utility-scale solar developer or an IPP.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business, or construction management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across design and construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety priorities are reflected in EPC contracting and procurement.
• Coordinate with engineering and cost teams to maintain constructability and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead day-to-day project management across development through construction and commissioning.
• Maintain project reporting for lenders and sponsors and ensure contract compliance.
• Travel to job sites and offices as necessary to complete duties.
