Job summary

FIRSTCALL MECHANICAL GROUP LLC seeks a seasoned Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician in Macon, GA to perform on-site maintenance and repair of air-cooled and centrifugal chillers, pumps, towers, and AHUs. The role requires EPA certification, OSHA 10, a valid driver license, and 5+ years in a commercial HVAC setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a commercial HVAC setting with chillers.
• Active EPA Certification is required.
• OSHA 10 certification is required.
• Technical training in HVAC or Refrigeration.
• Valid Driver License is required.
• Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC systems including air-cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, pumps, cooling towers, air handlers, valves, and VAV systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic components related to these systems.
• Inspect and test system components for proper operation, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, installation, general servicing, and troubleshooting of mechanical HVAC systems.
• Assist in installing, retrofitting, and commissioning commercial chiller systems and related HVAC equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to assess and repair HVAC systems.
• Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial/industrial chiller and refrigeration equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to clients regarding maintenance schedules and energy efficiency.
• Prepare and present detailed service reports to customers.
