Job summary

Centralmechanical is a full-service HVAC contractor known for quality service and energy solutions. We seek an experienced Chiller/HVAC technician to maintain and repair central plant equipment, including large chillers, with on-call responsibilities.

You will work with the Chiller Field Supervisor on customer opportunities and deliver reliable maintenance programs. Ideal candidates bring 5 years journeyman-level experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license, along with strong

Qualifications

5 years journeyman level experience and technical schooling.
Commercial/industrial air conditioning experience required.
Knowledge of Chiller, HVAC and central plants.
HVAC large tonnage field knowledge required.
EPA certified.
Valid driver’s license.
Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair central plant equipment.
Overhaul centrifugal chillers a plus.
Support the office with recommended repairs from delivery to completion.
Availability for emergency service calls on-call through rotation.
End-to-end testing, programming, start-ups and commissioning.
Schedule and manage site-wide maintenance, troubleshooting and repair duties for chillers and central plant equipment.
Perform daily and monthly preventative maintenance on chillers, cooling towers and central plant equipment.
Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers.
